Q-Pragathi project positions
Consultants and interns to build a 3D microfabricated ion trap for quantum computing with calcium ions.
Our project Design and Development of a 3D Microfabricated Ion Trap Platform for Quantum Computing with Calcium Ions (QP202601) is funded under the Q-Pragathi programme of the Quantum Research Park (QuRP), IISc Bengaluru, funded by the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Government of Karnataka. It runs from October 2026 to October 2028.
We will build a small three-dimensional ion trap on a chip, hold calcium ions in it, and develop the electronics and lasers to control them. The work is at the Delta Q lab in Moodlakatte, led by Dr. K T Satyajith.
Tentative. These positions are planned and will be confirmed once recruitment is approved by the QuRP Office. Register your interest now and we will keep you informed.
